Narcissism
I’m having trouble adjusting to working swing, and so here I am at 3 in the morning writing a blog. Tonight I somehow started looking up reviews on google and yelp for places I’ve worked in Tahoe. Here are some of the excerpts I’d like to share. I bolded keywords for you because like the title of this post, this is about narcissism.
About Friday’s Station:
“…The specialty cocktail menu is amazing also. Stop in the bar and have a chat with one their really personable bartenders. They’re great and they’ll whip you up a super fancy martini that tastes incredible. Their wine list is amazing as well, though the wine’s by the glass could use a step up, the bottles are impressive.”

About Heavenly: (my favorites are the last ones)
“…But, they do have nice long trails, and the ski bum staff are all very nice.”
“…It’s a huge resort.. Not sure if I have the desire to come back here again because it’s so expensive compared to other resorts. Plus one star for having a large and very visible number of staff, who you can bug with questions….they were all very nice.”
“…boo on the ski lifts! but the runs here are long and easy, if you find the right ones. the boys who work here are also hot.”
“…Oh and another thing, the people at the bottom of the Gondola at the Heavenly Rentals SUCK! They were not accomodating at ALL and pretty much acted like I was wasting their time by asking to get fitted for boots and skis. I thought maybe a few of them might be having a bad day but they were like that all weekend. Maybe they were just all really hungover…”
